Maldives Coral Reefs

Establishing Baseline Data For Our House Coral Reefs In Maldives

Pelagic Divers Fuvahmulah and Nature Friends of Maldives launched the first dedicated biodiversity survey of Fuvahmulah’s coral reefs and fish communities, recognising the need for solid scientific data to better understand and protect our unique marine ecosystem.

Ultrasound Study

unraveling the reproductive patterns of Maldivian tiger sharks

In a collaborative effort, we conducted the first comprehensive ultrasound study on Fuvahmulah’s tiger sharks, revealing unprecedented insights into their reproductive biology and pregnancy patterns.

Fuvahmulah School Project

Connecting ocean science to the local community

Our school project brings marine science and shark education directly to classrooms, with real samples, interactive sessions, and a chance to explore the ocean through Virtual Reality.
